Abstract

Introduction: Children born premature (37 weeks) present a higher risk for changes in the global development, including linguistic aspects. Child development is due to intrinsic inherited factors and extrinsic factors related to the environment in which the child is exposed. The interaction of the child with the mother is fundamental for the development of adaptive, linguistic and cognitive behaviors. The impact of prematurity the interaction baby and your mother need be better understanding, due the distinct diferente behaviors in literature. Objective: To verify the quality the interaction mother and the baby and its impact on the development of children born prematurely and born full term in the three months age. Materials and methods: The project was approved by the Committee of Ethics in Research with Human Beings of the "Faculty of Dentistry of Bauru" and na institution of the "Foundation for Medical and Hospital Development", respecting resolution 466/12, which deals with ethics in research of the National Commission of Ethics in Research (CAAE: 90550318.4.0000.5417). Sixty families will participate and will be divided into two groups: 30 with children born prematurely (EG) and 30 with children full term born (CG).Will be applied the instruments: Experimental Index of Face-to-Face Relationship, Child-Adult and Development Screening Test- Denver II. The procedures will be filmed for further analyse. The statistical treatment will consist of descriptive measures and application of the tests: Student's t-test, Paired T-Test, Spearman's Correlation Test, Fischer's Exact Test and Mann-Whitney Test.
