Abstract

Descriptive study aiming to understand and analyze the teaching perspective about the Patient Safety at a federal university of São Paulo and describe the strategies used by the professors in addressing the thematic of patient safety. To do so, the Thematic Oral History methodology will be used, defining the chosen network of professors based on its relevance which is indicated by departments or disciplines coordinators of the academic units. The guiding question will be "What is your perception about the teaching of the Patient Safety in your respective Curriculum Units developed by your department?" If necessary, complementary questions will be added according to the script previously described. The testimonies will be recorded, transcribed, contextualized and submitted to content analysis, according to the model proposed by Minayo in her description of qualitative research.
