Abstract

The goal of this project is to introduce the student to the polarimetric, interferometric and multi-band synthetic apertureradar, SAR, and also to its application in the precision agriculture. The student will be introduced to the electromagneticwave theory and its interaction with the vegetation and to the signal and image processing theory. He will then be guidedto develop a methodology for pattern recognition using polarimetric, interferometric, multi-band SAR images.
