Abstract Connections among data elements described by RDF models represent the core of Semantic Web. The well-known rising number of structured data published in public RDF repositories testifies the success of the global and unified dataset proposed by the Web Semantic's vision. These connections are built with semi-automatic linking algorithms using a variety of similarity calculus. The data interconnected by these algorithms demands automatic methods and tools to maintain its consistency. Even though the constant update of RDF connections is considered an important process for the evolution of these structured datasets, such changing operations can influence the well-formed links, which difficults the consistency of the connections over time. The present project aims to investigate new methods and algorithms responsible for fixing and updating links among structured data following the ontologies rules and properties. In oder to achieve it, the changing actions over ontologies and among links between their instances will be formalized. The contribution of this project is the design and development of an automatic method that updates links based on changing operations in RDF datasets. | |
