Abstract

The present work involves the synthesis, deposition and characterization of ferroelectric thin films (ferroelectric or multiferroic) with "tuned" photovoltaic properties for absorption of radiation at the center of the solar spectrum. The deposition will be performed by RF Sputtering, using targets that will be developed, with specific compositions for this purpose, in the Group of Ferrous Materials. After the deposition the scholarship holder must carry out structural, morphological and photovoltaic characterizations (absorption spectrum). In the films with the most suitable characteristics for solar cells, the photovoltaic efficiency, current-voltage measurements, should be measured in a system developed by the group (by other members) for this purpose.
