Abstract

Study and Survey of management instruments aimed at the preservation of historic neighborhoods, with emphasis on residential neighborhoods designed in the garden-suburbd model. The objective is to identify good practices in the management of these neighborhoods in an international context so that they can be replicated in the preservation of the neighborhoods of São Paulo, in order to reconcile the attributes of preservation with those of urban development - a fact that the current environmental taps have not been able to answer properly. The reference cases will be in the city of Paris and London, which will involve a 20-day trip to these sites, with academic support from the research group of CRH - Center de Recherche sur l'Habitat, based in Paris, ENSAVDS - École Nationale D'Architecture Paris-Val de Seine.
