Abstract

The objective of this study and IC grant is to describe the meanings that is attributed by teachers and students to the diversity of family, ethnic-racial, religious composition and to the preventive education of STI / AIDS and violence at school. After a thematic analysis, the content of this ethnographic study will be interpreted from the notion of intersectionality and from the perspective of human rights that informs the theme research project. The scholarship student will integrate the mini team that will daily follow up and collect data in the preliminary study of thematic research (# 2017_2590-2) in schools that will compose the universe of schools to be drawn for the intervention in the region of Heliopolis (São Paulo). In its activities, he will follow (1) the consent process of the school to integrate the IC / High School of USP (IC-Ensino Médio, edital 2019); (2) training this students in research methodology and ethics and to be included as scholarship holders and volunteers in IC-EM; (3) in collaboration with these students in IC-EM, ethnography of the health services frequented by colleagues in the school community; (4) the application of the 1st part (sociodemographic) of the thematic research questionnaire that will be carried out by the IC-MS with the students of their schools in this preliminary study on the religious, ethnic-racial and family diversity of the school community; (5) the pilot application of the complete thematic research questionnaire with IC-EM scholarship holders.
