Abstract

The purpose of the present proposal is to identify the effect of 3 different doses of estradiol benzoate (EB, 1, 1,5 and 2 mg) on the follicular dynamics of Zebu cows. In a second experiment, the effects of previously mentioned doses of EB on luteal dynamics when used in a resynchronization protocol at 14 days after IATF will be evaluated by B-mode and Color-Doppler ultrasonography and plasma progesterone dosage. In a third experiment, the dose of better performance in the two previous experiments will be selected to evaluate its efficiency in resynchronization protocols at 14 days post-TAI associated with the use of early diagnosis of pregnancy with Doppler ultrasonography in zebu beef cows.
