This research project intends to analyze how school visitation to industrial museums can be an important tool for teacher’s education. On that purpose, the Museu da Companhia Paulista, the Museu Histórico e Cultural de Jundiaí "Solar do Barão", and the school visits to these places, are being employed as case studies. The applied methodology is of qualitative grounding by means of interviews, accompanying museum visits and the observation, with the teachers, of classes before and after the museum visits. The expected results aim to understand the real curricular use of the cultural heritage in classrooms and the aspects of the school visitation that can become challenges for the teacher.
