Abstract

The present research project aims to analyzing and mapping how the theme of cultural, ethnic and racial diversity has been discussed in the field of teacher education in France. This analysis will be carried out in its theoretical dimensions (involving the researchers of the theme) and practice - in terms of curriculum. Through a theoretical and documentary analysis guided by some precepts of genealogy we hope to map and understand the theoretical and methodological tendencies that define the field of teacher education in France, as well as to deepen the theoretical and analytical tools around the place culture and ethnic-racial affiliation in educational processes as fundamental dimensions in contexts increasingly shaped by refugee situations and migratory flows such as we have in the contemporary world.
