Abstract

The objective of this project is to understand the proof made by B. Kerekjarto of Brouwer's translation theorem, the use made of it by Salvador Zanata and Pedro Solomão in a paper on annulus diffeomorphisms and also to generalize the main result of this paper to lower differentiability, assuming a generic condition.
