Abstract

In this journalistic research project, we propose science communication in the issue biodiversity and global climate changes to prepare a unique set of materials about scientific advisor research "AmazonFACE/ME: The AmazonFACE Model- Experiment Integration Project - the role of biodiversity and climate feedbacks", Cepagri/Unicamp. This project is supported by Fapesp Research Program "Global Climate Changes". In addition, journalistic communication and structured interviews with scientists conducting research projects supported by Fapesp - Biota' and Global Climate Changes' Programs - will be prepared. Science communication will explore different formats (text, audio, image) and social media. Materials produced will be disseminated in "ComCiência" Journal, and "Oxigênio" radio (Labjor/Unicamp). The exercise of a series of skills and techniques of journalism in accordance with the specialization course in Scientific Journalism (Labjor/Unicamp) and the dialogue with an interdisciplinary team will offer the candidate the possibility to expand his network of contacts, as well as new ways of doing and communicating science.
