Abstract

The project analyzes the teaching of fractions historically through textbooks edited from 1890 to 1960. As a subproject, part of the FAPESP thematic project, it aims to contribute to the history of mathematical education by analyzing the changes in arithmetic knowledge focusing on the teaching of fractions.
