Abstract

This project stems from the studies developed by the Health and Sexuality Studies Laboratory. In the last four years, issues related to gender, sexuality and corporeality were investigated in the virtual context and a reproduction of the heteronormative pattern prevailing in society in both hetero and homoaffective spaces was found. As a result of these studies, the objective is to broaden the debate and action focusing on clinical work, thinking the expanded clinic in a critical perspective of Social-Historical Psychology (PSH). The practice of expanded clinic could be a way to experiment with proposals and actions that break with heteronormative patterns, creating other possibilities of gender identity and sexual practices that are not abject. It was found that there are few studies in PSH that provide parameters for a critical clinic and committed to the issues of psychological distress resulting from the practices and desires involved in sexual diversity. The general objective of this project is to propose clinical reasoning for the management of issues related to sexuality in individual and group care, and to create criteria for evaluating the clinical practice developed. As specific objectives: to reflect on historicity as analytical category; apprehend gender relations, sexual practices and experiences with STI emerging in clinical practice; identify the activity as a category that configures the role of the clinic; identify group coordinators and therapists as mediators in expanded clinic practice. The analyzes will use the qualitative methodology searching the elements that constitute the clinical reasoning in the PSH. (AU)
