Abstract

The journalistic research proposal to be developed at the Greenhouse Gas Laboratory (LaGEE) of INPE of São José dos Campos is part of the study on the Greenhouse Gas Balance of the Amazon Basin. With regard to scientific journalism, it is important that the transcription of academic language for the wide dissemination of the material to be presented to the public is done in the most judicious way possible. In this sense, priority must be given to producing reliable content, adapting it to the peculiarities of the platforms available for use. The application of research in scientific journalism must, throughout the process, occur with the material to be analyzed and addressed in the production of future media content, which is justified by only being It is possible to transmit data efficiently once you have full knowledge of what is being worked on. Scientific journalism is a key tool to make society understand the importance of the Amazon Forest and can act to promote environmental protection policies and support scientific research that focuses on this theme.
