Abstract

The objective of this project is to analyze the use of Guinea grass as humectants in rehydrated corn grains silage. The trial will be carried out into PVC experimental silos of 3.14 L using a completely randomized design with four treatments and six replications. The treatments will correspond to the replacement of the water added by the one contained in Giana grass as follows: 0%: rehydrated corn silage without the addition of grass (control); 40%: 40% replacement of the water added in the control treatment by the moisture contained in the grass; 60%: Replacement of 60% of the water added in the control treatment with the moisture contained in the grass and 80%: Replacement of 80% of the water added in the control treatment with the moisture contained in the grass. After opening the silos will be analyzed the dry mass losses by gases, pH, lactic acid, CP, NDF, ADF, EE, N-NH3 and IVDMD. Data will be submitted to statistical analysis by the SISVAR program and regression analyzes will be performed considering the significance level of 5% probability. (AU)
