Abstract

This research aims to understand if active research in the Graduate of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) has been producing potentially marketable knowledge. For this study, we seek to analyze the reality of Higher Education in Brazil through research funding policies and partnerships of academic intellectuals of the state university with private corporations. This research will examine the active research of graduate students studying and working in the UFSCar Center for Exact Sciences and Technology (CCET) Graduate Programs funded through research funding agencies. This study makes it possible to understand the new modes of regulation and trends under construction for knowledge production in Brazilian Higher Education, contributing to the formulation of Public and Institutional Policies.
