Abstract

This present proposal involves the synthesis of nanostructured perovskite-based films focusing on the understanding of their physical properties. Perovskite polycrystals have been used in the manufacture of photovoltaic cells due to the high efficiency observed in energy conversion. The perovskite polycrystals (CH3NH3PbX3, where X = I or Br) will be synthesized in an autoclave system at hydrothermal conditions followed by the material deposition on different substrates. After deposition, the structural, morphological and electrical transport properties of perovskite films will be studied. After these characterization, it is intended to manufacture the device and characterize its efficiency. (AU)
