Abstract

Having as object the group of artists from "Casa 7", formed by Carlito Carvalhosa, Fábio Miguez, Paulo Monteiro, Nuno Ramos, and Rodrigo Andrade, who produced intensely between the years 1982-1986, this research aims to understand the conditions of production of the arts in the city of São Paulo during the initial period of democratic opening in Brazil. The research also intends to reconstruct the state of São Paulo's artistic field in the 1980s. (AU)
