Abstract

This project aims to study reading and writing practices which are supported by multimodality to construct meanings and that also present interfaces with printed books. It focus on the study of selected extracts from the page "Adjetivou" (https://www.facebook.com/adjetivou), created in 2017 by five young friends on Facebook, alongside with the profile "Adjetivou", created on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/adjetivou/). It intends to track (im)possible routes which might have been taken when (inter)connecting those two objects - which are taken as sociocultural and multimodal digital productions - as well as to consider its relations to the poems written and published in the book "Colecionando partes de mim", by Natália Nogueira. This author is currently graduating in Letters and on her way to become a teacher. She is also one of the creators, as well as an administrator, of the aforementioned profiles. Objectively, this project aims to understand how multimodal reading and writing in digital environments - which seem to motivate the creation of narratives associated to literacy practices that resulted in a printed book, could contribute for a multiliteracy-guided teacher professional intruction. Moreover, by adopting a dialogically and critically oriented perspective, the proposal investigates possible relations between producing and sharing poems in digital platforms and the literacies employed in the development of critical readers-writers. The study finds theoretic support on the discussions carried by Bakhtin (2011; 2018); Lemke (2010) and Gosciola (2012). It also seeks methodological help in digital ethnography (Pink et al, 2016), to perform an oriented research and further selection of data. It is believed that the expected results might contribute to the construction of knowledge about subjects, languages and technologies - within the scope of the supervisor's investigations, as well as to the field of teacher education for elementary schooling, in the languages area, especially those locates in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.
