Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the profile of care provided to patients looking for dental treatment in the Direct Dentistry clinics at the School of Dentistry of the University of São Paulo in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. A questionnaire will be answered by the graduate student, with all the changes found in each patient's tooth, in addition, the patient will also answer a questionnaire related to their behavior during the pandemic. Data collection will take place in all Dentistry clinics and all classes, shortly after return, in all clinical sessions realized, during the first semester of 2021. The data obtained through the questionnaires will be submitted to statistical analysis. After analysis, the evaluators will be able to conclude whether or not there was any change in the care profile of patients at the university clinic and whether the pandemic of COVID-19 was a contributing factor to such change.
