Abstract

The postdoctoral candidate will contribute to the implementation and automation of fundamental equipment for the characterization of the optical properties of samples of ferroic materials, produced by the team throughout the thematic project. The equipment will allow the investigation of the absorption/transmission spectrum of any type of sample (bulk, thin film or powder) in a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum. In addition, the configurable system will make it possible to highlight any dichroism in the material and, if applicable, with an automatic positioning system, make a topological mapping to identify domains in the sample.
