Abstract

This research proposes to understand the identity configuration process in very early childhood. Specifically, it aims to analyze games played by black babies and toddlers to produce their generational and racial belongings. Is proposed a dialogue with an "exuistic dimension" or "exulic logic": playing produces meanings, creates cracks and is the way of being in the world. It is based on the hypothesis that: children who experience their childhood in a family context with subjects who mobilize "blackness" as a diacritical sign in the constitution of their identities configure possibilities for the production of a self-image different from those built in the spaces of Early Childhood Education. The family movements seem to constitute a network of relationships in childhood, which appears as a central link, whose experience of their experience takes place in religious, artistic, educational, aesthetic and other contexts. To identify the flows and transits of symbols of these groups, a profile mapping of social networks that presents content adjacent to the idea of black childhoods and the spaces of physical interaction these children will be carried out through multi-sited ethnography. In addition to the empirical observation and analysis of the materials made available online, a literature review will be carried out identifying and analyzing research that articulates categories such as: toddlers and babies, games, black identity, family, Afro-Brazilian religions, black movement and racial socialization (category studied more widely by US researchers, who must also compose this framework).
