Abstract

Herbicides can cause a great negative impact on the environment, which makes it necessary and important to develop techniques for decontamination of areas with high concentrations of these products. This study aims to evaluate the efficiency of plant species in phytoremediation of the herbicide indaziflam. The susceptibility of 15 species of green manures (Dolichos lablab, Cajanus cajan, Canavalis ensiformis, Crotalaria juncea, C. breviflora, C. spectabilis, Mucuna deeringiana, M. cinerea, M. aterrima, Lupinus albus, Helianthus annuus, Pennisetum glaucum, Avena strigosa, Raphanus sativus and Calopogonium muconoides) will be evaluated in relation to the herbicide indaziflam. The experiment will be carried out in a greenhouse, and each species will be evaluated separately in a completely randomized design, with four replications. The treatments will be arranged in a 5 x 3 factorial scheme, consisting of five sowing times after application of the herbicide (5, 30, 60, 90 and 120 days) and three doses of indaziflam (0, 75 and 100 g ai ha) 1). At 15, 30 and 60 days after the emergence of green manures (DAE), visual assessments of phyto-intoxication will be carried out. At 60 DAE, the height of plants and the dry matter of the aerial part of green manures will be evaluated. After the removal of the green fertilizers sown in the different periods, beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) will be sown, which is a biondicator plant of the herbicide indaziflam. The bioindicator plant will be monitored for a period of 60 days, after which it will be evaluated for height, dry biomass of the aerial part, symptoms of phytotoxicity and leaf area.
