Abstract

The debates on illegality and the world of crime in Latin American metropolises have little dialogue with the literature on transnationalisms, globalisation and global North-South connections. The proposal of this research front is to look at transnational illegal markets and their low-level operators in our cities as interconnected and interdependent. The aim of this CI is to contribute to the development of this research front by participating in all stages of the collective research - from data collection to the writing of partial texts of the collective work. The work of Luiz Gustavo, who is already part of the team of this Thematic Project since its elaboration, will be focused on the work of low operators of auto parts chains, with emphasis on their operation in automotive auctions.
