Abstract

Objective: To analyze the clinical and pathological factors that influence the survival of women diagnosed with vulvar squamous carcinoma treated at CAISM from 2010 to 2019.Methods: The retrospective cohort study will analyze data from electronic medical records of approximately 120 women diagnosed with squamous-type vulva cancer treated at the Hospital da Mulher Prof. Dr. José Aristodemo Pinotti - CAISM / UNICAMP between January 2010 and December 2019. Information about the clinical characteristics of the tumour and the patients will be used, as well as follow-up data. The variables will be overall survival, disease-free survival, recurrence, age, stage and comorbidities, described by frequency and means with standard deviation. The survival analysis will be made using the Log-rank test and the influence of the associated variables, according to the Cox Model. The significance level of 5% will be admitted.Expected results: From the analysis traced by the present study, it is expected that the overall and disease-free survival will be lower when in longer-lived women, as well as when associated with more advanced stages of the disease and/or comorbidities.
