Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of mobility restriction measures and vaccination on the incidence of Covid-19 in the population of the municipality of Araraquara. This is an ecological study of secondary data analysis in health. This research will be carried out in Araraquara-SP. The data will be collected on the website of the Municipal Health Department of Araraquara, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, the website of the State System for Data Analysis Foundation, and the SP Covid-19 Info Tracker website. Initially, a descriptive analysis of the incidence of Covid-19 in the period and delimited area of study will be carried out, considering the sociodemographic variables, namely: gender, age group, and race/color. Subsequently, the Odds Ratio (OD) of the Covid-19 incidence in the pre-and post-lockdown periods will be calculated; then, the chi-square test will be used to determine if there was any difference between the investigated variables in the period. Likewise, the OD of the incidence of Covid-19 will be calculated in the pre-and post-vaccination periods, and the chi-square test will also be used to determine if there was a difference between the variables. The significance level will be 0.05. The analyzes will be carried out in Program R. This research does not require consideration by the Research Ethics Committee, since the data are available on publicly accessible websites. (AU)
