Abstract

This Scientific Initiation project's main objective is the development of an analytical inventory of the opinions on the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN - National Curriculum Standards) for Elementary Education, restricted circulation documents that seek to contribute to the final form of this national curriculum documentation. This inventory will compose research material for further studies underdevelopment of the Thematic Project "Mathematics in teacher education and teaching: processes and dynamics of production of professional knowledge, 1890-1990", coordinated by Prof. Dr. Wagner Rodrigues Valente, this project understands and focuses on the plurality of sense of Mathematics, showing Mathematics teacher education and teaching. This proposal will analyze the discussions that are highlighted by the opinions in the production process of the National Curriculum Parameters of Mathematics, analyzing mainly the criticisms, emphasizing the main themes discussed in the document development process and in the production process of knowledge of Mathematics of teaching and teacher training in that period. Furthermore, it will contribute to the production of a catalog of information regarding these documents not yet treated in a systematic way by the community of Mathematics Education. (AU)
