Abstract

The objective of this scientific initiation is to understand the vulnerabilities to LGBTphobia among high school youth in the context of the pandemic in Brazil, focusing on understanding the social relationships formed by LGBTQIA+ youth participating in the thematic project (Scientific Initiation in High School Fellows - IC-EM). The scholar will be part of the mini-team responsible for monitoring the day-to-day production and interpretation of the study data at the Sorocaba site, a unique research training opportunity. Among other activities, he will attend the weekly meetings of the mini-team; the continuous process of training in research methodology and ethics of the school's students, including students included as IC-EM volunteers; and the analysis and dissemination of the results of the preliminary study. The process of working with the IC-EM, initially online, will be able to be developed in the school territory with the stabilization of the return to classes in person.(AU)
