Abstract This research project for an internship grant abroad derives from my current post-doctoral research entitled "The Literalists' Fall: Andrey Azov on translation and political treason in the USSR". As studies on foreign literature translated into Russian during the USSR are still scarce in Brazil - lacking articles, books, events and specialized researchers - during the internship in the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures of the University of Bologna, the researcher aims to conduct an in-depth literature review, to attend academic events on the theme and to consult specialized researchers, under the supervision of Prof. Alessandro Niero, specialized in Russian Translation Studies and director of First Cycle Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature at the university where the internship will take place.
