Abstract

This project has as its object of study the managers of the Integral Education Program (PEI) of the Department of Education of the state of São Paulo. The investigation is part of the research "Research and training network on integral education: experiences, movements, innovation and contemporary challenges" (RINALDI, 2017) and can contribute to broadening the understanding of the topic investigated as it proposes to use reflection (auto)biographical to provide processes and devices for training and research through narratives, written or oral. It is developed in the line of research Training Professionals in Education, Educational Policies and Public School, of the Postgraduate Program in Education at Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp), Faculty of Science and Technology, Presidente Prudente campus. The guiding question of the study is woven around the issue: How is the experience of admission and permanence of the school management team (director, vice-principal and general coordinator teacher) in PEI developed and what are the socio-material conditions for its performance? Thus, the general objective of the project is to investigate how these professionals, in their particularities and subjectivities, were built and related to the development of the Integral Education Program in the state of SP in the schools in which they work. As the locus of the research, we delimited the municipality of Presidente Prudente, SP, with professionals from the school management team who work in three schools that joined the program as of 2013. In this sense, it is a qualitative research with an investigative approach (self)biographical, carried out through narrative interviews. We chose this methodology because it is a device that enhances the understanding of personal and professional trajectories established within the investigated contexts. (AU)
