Abstract

This project has as object of study the thermal performance of small apartments in multifamily residential buildings (up to 50 m²), with total façades or partially glazed, built and recently launched in São Paulo. Thermal analyzes will be negotiated from computer simulations with based on current weather data and future data from Projeta - Change Projections Climate for South America Regionalized by the Institute's ETA Model National Space Research Institute - INPE. The analyzes developed with the support of thermodynamic computational simulation, allowing the evaluation of comfort indexes thermal efficiency and energy efficiency, in a qualitative and quantitative way, in the face of changes climate and the new demands resulting from the confinement due to the pandemic. With this you can qualify and quantify the impact you get from decisions about the design, the materials and constructive components on the facades can cause over the built space. In view of the increase in global temperature, added to the local district heating, problematization and the study of the thermal performance project of small apartments with facades totally or partially glazed in future scenarios, with the objective of assessing user comfort and energy efficiency, given the demand for artificial conditioning and also considering the longest stay of residents and the new uses resulting from confinement during a pandemic and, eventually, post-pandemic, due to the new habits.
