Abstract

Within the recent changes involving the strengthening of the flexibility of the work relations and contracts, alongside the imperative of an entrepreneurial rationale as a means to justify the world's current way of life, the platformization of work becomes more consolidated by the day. The platform working corresponds to activities that are mediated, organized and governed by digital platforms. Recently, many Brazilian cities have gotten used to the bicycle-riding deliverymen, better known as bikeboys - an example of work platformization. Such category is made of, mostly, by young and peripheral black men. In this context, this research project intends to understand and analyse how entrepreneurship is assimilated and used as a constructed, resignified strategy experienced by a youth located in the city of São Paulo-SP. In order to accomplish this research, comprehensive interviews will be conducted, with the objective of developing a study of the path of the selected individuals.
