The following study focuses on the work Heroides, by Publius Ovid Naso, morespecifically the letters VI and XII, from Hypsipyle to Jason and from Medea to Jason, respectively. We will analyze the way in which the poet creates an intratextual andintertextual dialogue between the mentioned epistles, in addition to dialoguing with otherworks of the author. The research will also seek to delve into the way in which Ovidconstructed the feminine, while simultaneously working with the epistolary and elegiacgenres.
