Abstract

Introduction: Despite the difficulties in defining them, there is a growing recognition in the scientific literature about the importance of psychosocial factors at work in the production of health and illness. This phenomenon has become even more evident in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, when we think about health professions. In addition to the risk of contagion and uncertainties about the future, in many cases, these workers had to act under inadequate working conditions, making them more susceptible to developing mental health issues not only during the pandemic, but in the subsequent period. Therefore, the creation of prevention and promotion programs in mental health proved to be necessary, in order to ensure that health professionals remain active and healthy. Thanks to advances in digital technologies, an alternative possibility of care has emerged through "Health Apps", in particular, the application developed by this team, APP Mental. Objective: To assess the viability of the Mental APP for the identification and approach of psychosocial factors of work among Primary Care workers in a three-month period of interaction. Methodology: This is a quantitative and longitudinal study. The COPSOQ-II scale will be used to screen for psychosocial factors at work and their effects, through interaction with APP Mental .
