Abstract The development of biosensors ranges from choosing a target todetection to the analysis of quantities related to its efficiency. The knowledgeabout the components present in a biosensor (bioreceptor, transducer and thetarget to be detected) is fundamental to understanding the modification ofsurface and formation of immobilization layers. The choice of bioreceptor and thetechnique used for characterization and analysis of the results is based on thecharacteristics of the target analyte. In order to develop and improve abiosensor for the detection of Dengue, it was decided to use a DNA aptamerto detect non-structural protein type 1 (NS1), an important biomarker ofdisease that is present in the bloodstream. Using electrochemical techniques, verified the validity of the development of the aptasensor in question, sinceshowed a promising response for different concentrations of NS1 in the rangeof interest. Thus, through this project, we seek to establish a comparativebetween the impedimetric detection, already studied in previous projects, and the capacitive technique, from the non-Faradaic signal, in addition to the acquired signal optimization, stability, linear range and limit of detection. | |
