Abstract

University-industry collaboration (UIC) has been receiving growing attention in Science, Technology, and Innovation studies. In this sense, governments around the world are elaborating and implementing policies aiming at promoting different models of UIC interactions. The present proposal seeks to assess, through bibliometric indicators, the scientific and technological impacts of a specific model of UIC collaboration driven by the Brazilian Company of Research and Industrial Innovation (Embrapii). We intend to carry out a quasi-experiment comparing the performances of researchers and their research centres and laboratories operating with and without the Embrapii's model. (AU)
