Abstract The morphology of a city is a determining factor for environmental comfort. It is necessary to understand how the form of buildings, height, orientation, street width and surface characteristics impact climate and urban comfort, especially considering morphological patterns typically identified in Brazilian cities. Through the Systematic Mapping of Literature (SML) of articles published in national and international scientific journals of great relevance in the area of morphology and urban climate, we seek to structure knowledge that promotes urban planning focused on knowledge and innovation, designing more pleasant and healthy spaces. | |
