Abstract

INTRODUCTION: Social medias are integrated in the everyday life of people, being a place toshare thoughts, opinions, and feelings, in a way that analysis of posts allow to identify mentalsuffering. In parallel, wearable technologies became popular, allowing to continuous gather dataabout sleep, physical activities, etc. Thus, there's a possibility to identify mental suffering throughthe data collected by wearable devices. OBJECTIVES: This project is based on the possibility toanalyses together the social media and wearable devices' data, to find a relation with individualmental state. METHODOLOGY: This project will use cardiac frequency data, psychometric scales'answers and public social media posts of volunteers to a qualitative analyses, in order to find arelationship between the date of Brazilian college students with and without possible depressiveprofiles.
