Abstract

Resins for three-dimensional printing make it possible to create long-lasting restorations duration with agility, smoothness and good reproduction of details. However, studies are lacking laboratory tests in the literature that analyze these materials. Therefore, the aim of this study will be to analyze the mechanical properties of a light-curing liquid resin for three-dimensional printing, VarseoSmile Crownplus (VSC), using a printer based in digital light processing (DLP) and liquid crystal display (LCD). For this, the samples (n=53) will be drawn in the Rhinoceros software (version 7) in the dimensions and shape determinedfor each type of test. Subsequently, the specimens will be printed using W3D 2.0PRINT -WILCOS followed by cleaning and post-cure. The samples will be polished with sandpaper grain #800, #1200 and #2000. The specimens will be analyzed for roughness surface area, flexural strength, scanning electron microscopy, elastic modulus, Vickers microhardness and contact angle. The data will be submitted to statistical analysis by three-factor analysis of variance and Tukey's test with a significance level of 5%
