Abstract

The purpose of the project is the study of the class of S-asymptotically periodic and the study of the existence of S-asymptotically periodic solutions for ordinary differential equations. The theory of S-asymptotically periodic functions is recent, with open problems and interesting aplications. The study of the existence of solutions with periodicity properties (periodic, quasi-periodic, asymptotically quasi-periodic, S-asymptotically periodic, quasi-automorphic, etc.) is an important field in the general theory of differential equations. The topics considered in the project need different tools of analysis and differential equations, which will be important for the mathematical background of the student and for possible pos-graduation studies in mathematics.
