Abstract

The present research project aims to undertake a reflection on the 2022 and 2023 editions of Acampamento Terra Livre (ATL), emphasizing, especially, the relationship between the indigenous movement and the so-called "anti-capitalist struggles". From an ethnography of the Camps, we intend to carry out a comparative analysis between the elements observed in both editions, thinking about the transformation of the national conjuncture and its inflection in the indigenous movement. We seek to understand how the relationship between the ongoing indigenous struggles and the "anti-capitalist struggles" is expressed in the observed ATLs, paying attention not only to indigenous contributions to the critique of the capitalist mode of production, but also to the tensions that can arise of this approximation. The analysis of journalistic articles, documents of the indigenous movement, and the form of communication of the leaders in the social networks will also constitute the material of analysis that supports the proposed investigation.
