Abstract

This research project aims to provide a rigorous analysis of The Doctrine of Essence by examining the centrality of the categories of external reflection and form in determining a for us present in The Objective Logic. This reading is crucial to investigating the hypothesis that the emergence of the concept reveals the immanent status of the reader of the Science of Logic, which, in turn, plays a fundamental role in comprehending the nature of the speculative in the work's first two parts. To achieve this goal, the investigation of The Doctrine of Essence from the mentioned perspective will be anchored in exploring a specific logical temporality and tracking the shift from representative language to speculative language. The interpretive stance developed through this investigation is intended to serve as a bridge between transcendentalist and objectivist readings of Hegel's Logic. (AU)
