Abstract

The work goal is to perform the paleomagnetic study in Santos Basin marine core and throughobtained magnetic parameters, to determine relative paleointensity data and evaluate thepossible influence of South America Anomalia (SAMA) in these results. Besides that, it isintended to identify the paleocurrents of marine sediments at anisotropy of magneticsusceptibility (AMS) and its relationship with contour currents that act in the Santos Basin.
