Abstract

The application of metabolomic associated to CKD is particularly attractive, for these molecules are associated not only to the reduction of renal excretion and identification of new biomarkers, but with the microbiote and metabolic alterations that constantly occur in the animal organism. With the possibility of identifying these new metabolytes, mechanisms correlated with the physiopathology of CKD may be elucidated. Moreover, evaluating the short-term effects caused by alterations on the 'ohmic' sciences and of microbiote over the influence of precocious therapeutic measures in attempt to reduce the rate of the disease's progression makes us believe in this promising line of study.
