Abstract

This post-doctoral research proposal aims to study the properties of the hydrodynamical equation in connection with the underlying microscopic theory. By employing either kinetic theory or the fluid/gravity correspondence, one may explore the transport properties of the system on the boundary. We expect to improve our understanding of the hydrodynamical model of heavy-ion nuclear collisions and the ongoing experimental study of the QGP phase diagram. (AU)
