Abstract

One of the main challenges in the area of CH bond oxidation is the development of selective reactions due to the ubiquity of this type of bond in organic molecules and because of its low reactivity. In the case of catalytic systems applied at a late-stage, obtaining chemoselectivity is of great interest. In this sense, the objective of this internship project is to diversify complex natural diterpenes scaffolds by the oxidation of a novel position and synthesize more complex products. (AU)
