Abstract

The scholarship holder will actively participate in the activities, especially in the Democracy Subgroup, collecting empirical data under the guidance of her faculty advisor to support the subgroup's studies on the role of the judiciary in the recent democratisation process in Brazil, especially in relation to economic and environmental policies. She will collect judgments from selected courts as well as documents from other members of the judiciary and conduct basic analyses, always with the support and guidance of the subgroup's faculty.
