This work aims to study particle jets generated by the fragmentation of heavy quarks in collisions between relativistic heavy ions, more specifically, the structure of these observables. The main motivation is to explore the properties of the medium created in these collisions. Different measurements related to the structure of jets will be studied, and the identification of jets coming from the fragmentation of heavy quarks will be made from electrons coming from the decay of mesons formed by these quarks. The results obtained in this work should be compared with similar measurements carried out in collisions between protons and with calculations of models to extract the dynamics on the interaction of heavy quarks with the medium formed in collisions between heavy ions.
