Abstract

The present project articulates Clarice Lispector's literature with the minor-literature precepts described by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari in Kafka, pour une liettèrature mineur (1975). It aims to demonstrate how the texts from the Brazilian writer correspond to the three categories of minor literature. First, it is argued that her texts possess a strong coefficient of language deterritorialization. This will be demonstrated, throughout the project, based on the analysis of the syntactic, stylistic, semantic and morphological resources used by the author. From this point, it is defended that, inside the language deterritorialization, her texts mobilize two other categories of minor literature, namely the collective and political ones. These two are less evident in Clarice Lispector, because they are posed in a non-obvious fashion: her texts report social injustice, exploitation of minors, and hunger through the dissolution of the border between "I" and "the other". Such reports shed light on the imperceptible. In this way, Lispector tells us the banality we face the intolerable, which makes it abominal again.
